Saint Patrick's Organ
The Casavant
Organ of Saint Patrick's Church is opus number 91, meaning it is among
the first 100 organs that the Quebec organ company Casavant Freres
constructed. It was purchased for $5385.00, installed in 1898, and is
the only three-manual instrument built with pneumatic action that is
still in its original condition in Canada today. This led to its
designation in 2006 as a National Historic Organ by the Royal Canadian
College of Organists.
